How to use MUST in English language

USES OF MUST 

"Must" is a modal verb that is used to indicate necessity or obligation. It can be used in a variety of ways in English, and here are some examples:



1) Expressing a strong recommendation:

1.       You must try the pizza at this restaurant, it's amazing!

2.       You must watch this movie, it's so good.

 

2) Indicating a requirement or obligation:

1.       I must finish this report by the end of the day.

2.       You must wear a seatbelt while driving.

 

3) Conveying a logical deduction or assumption:

1.       She's been coughing all day, she must be sick.

2.       He must be busy, he hasn't answered my calls.

 

4) Expressing a possibility or likelihood:

1.       The game must have started, it's already 8 o'clock.

2.       They must have gone home, their car is not here.

 

5) Giving a warning or prohibition:

1.       You must not smoke in this area, it's forbidden.

2.       You must not enter this building without permission.

 

 

In general, "must" is used to express something that is considered essential or mandatory in some way. It's important to note that "must" is a strong word, and should be used carefully and appropriately.
